● At home: self-study using materials provided by the students’ high schools, the DOST-SEI, and the Ateneo de Manila University Department of Biology

● At school: regular school curriculum (no special training)

● At special training camp: The Ateneo de Manila University Department of Biology and DOST-SEI will institute in May every year a two-week-long series of lectures, workshops, training, and testing for the four selected IBO participants using materials that they have produced as well as materials from previous IBOs. During this two-week period, the students will also be highly encouraged to sit in biology plenary lectures and seminars at the tertiary level that each has more than 50 students/participants.
